Dear Folks,

I was happy to receive your last letter. Father, thanks for the article. It contained clearer information regarding our work than I have yet seen. I have kept myself very busy dancing and sleeping. Saturday evening I double dated with a sailor who was Dick Petit's missionary companion. We had a very interesting time at a dance held at the Scotch Rite Hall in Oakland. Bill Nelson & his wife were also there.
Yes finally I am going on a trip in a C54. By the time you receive this letter I will be in Hawaii or some place in that vicinity. I will tell you about everything when I return.
Sunday morning this sailor & I attended Sunday School at Ian Rafael 8 miles from the field. It was just like a Branch in the mission field & the testimonies were very impressive.

Love, Clyde
